The USD is based on nothing else than other countries using it for trade, borrowing it with interest from US and stack it for their collateral needs, if one country alone does not use it the US is bust, and Maduro just made up the Petro crypto currency to sell oil in Petro, that and that alone is absolutely intolerable by the US, that means if the Venezuelan Petro starts trading, US is going down.
