Does the water cooling speed your printing on the non-exotics like PLA and ABS?
Willingly yes, but that was not the probem I was aiming at when did this.
My issue was cooling the heatsink in an enclosure while the heat in the enclosure was my source of air for the cooling fan, guess what? Filament jam in the heatsink was the norm.
Not anymore.
Another issue I had even in open frame printers (I have 3 of them) was when printing very hot, like 300C and above, the heatsink cooled with a fan of 30mm did ... nothing, so... filament jam in the heatsink, so I designed myself some fan enhacer funnels, still fitting snug on the heatsink but carying 50mm, or 60mm, or even 80mm fans, it was solving the problem at that temperature level, once going higher again not sufficient, so.. bigger fan, at the expense of adding weight to the printing head.
Now all my pritners are watter cooled, no more issues with Nylon, PPS, Polycarb or other highter temp than PLA filaments in absurdly long print sessions one go, like two weeks one go...

Again, it depends on what your needs are. There is a full spectrum of printers out there. $1000k is a very generous budget. And for many folks; including in the so called rich countries, it is a lot of money to set aside.
True, most enthusiasts go for 150 to 500 USD budgets without understanding what are they getting into, 80% of them abandon after the first month and never go back to it, 20% of them end up spending another 300 USD or more just to make their machine perform decently before they realise they could of bought for that money a far better machine. But the experience they get from upgrading with their sweat is priceless. That makes them masters.

According to which, for example, it is natural to take money from each person's pocket to give as subsidies to some companies (of their own).
In the name of some ecological desiderata, for example.
Or in the name of “food safety” or cyber security.
It doesn't really matter what it is about, the mechanism is the same: the "hard" established approved sciences describe a worrying, potentially fatal reality (that if necessary to be proven can be created urgently, or the impression of it in Hollywood stile). But they stop here.
What follows is similar every time, but it comes from a different area than science, namely from millenarian religious rhetoric, heavily supported by mass media propaganda government and corporations sponsored.

OK Boomer generation) and then haunted over by loans they took to access the Jet Set Status, so to pay them they will say and do anything required by the demons in chief reigning over politicians, banks, corporations and... activists.

is expensive because is meant to create the impression that it has value, and it does, better than soda or cola or other chemo crap.
All chemical things are cheap because:
it's cheap to produce them (you change them chemically and you don't need another protection on the production line)
it's cheap to store them (with all the chemicals you don't have to put your money in controlled temperature)
It's cheap to stay on the shelf forever (with all the chemicals it doesn't spoil easily)
The natural ones are expensive to process and to remain natural, they have a short shelf life, so you produce a little to get rid of them fast, so the processing costs you more, they must be kept for big time money at controlled temperatures, and sold urgently from the shelf before they spoil, so you have low stock.
Everything that is cheap is chemical, everything that is chemical is cheap, and cancer eats you up!

The problem in our world is that stupid people are sure of what they know (very little and stupid) and intelligent people doubt everything they know (a lot and good knowledge), so the stupids says that they does (whatever the task is) and asks for money that they are sure on what they know and can, if they make a disaster (it is often the case), than they simply disappear and that's it, another fool take its place.

Not happy, the insatiable, however, are making now big mistakes, they are starving the sheeple whom by feeling the pain of extractions (taxes and similar) are beginning to suspect that, perhaps, their masters are not as good as they thought; there is a limit to everything!
It is up to us to awaken those numb minds that we can only reach with powerful means of communication: internet, phones, one to one sessions, and barbecue little chats.

I am over 50 years old, being burglared 3 times in my life. Police never did anything, some vague promises in the beginning than... silence and got dumped as not solvable for various reasons such as minor damage, not enough resources, could not identify the perpetrators...
But with all the money I pay every month for the police protection in my Council tax bill, multiplied by the number of inhabitants that pay, I run the maths, they can hire ten times more people in the forces, so where is my money going?
So I stand by the next 3 statements I make here:
A) Police is not here to create chaos, Police is here to preserve chaos;
- the creation of it they delegated to their under the table employees; the thieves, burglars and drug dealers, that are allowed to do whatever they want as long as they are carefully enough not to get caught. If they get caught will never ever admit they are directed by the police forces where to hit and when, so that the prosecutor give them the shortest jail-time possible (yes magistrates and prosecutors are part of the game too)
B) Police is here to serve and protect;
- not us the tax payers, but their criminals that enlisted themselves to work under the forces indications, so the criminals can make a decent living while fear-mongering entire neighbourhoods into submission to pay their Council tax money for the Police salaries, and thus the Police has solved a crisis, by making believe the steeple that their salaries are well worthed, well... they are not. But it happens to work just fine, for the council, for the police, magistrates and prosecutors, and obviously for the criminals.
C) It is time we the people demand the same rights to bear weapons legally like the bandits have illegally and install in our properties lethal devices against perpetrators; just like the laws they have in Switzerland or the following states in the US;

What do these places have in common?
Low to non-existent criminality, Switzerland never had a mass shooting, and the named states in US almost never, as compared to the other states in US, not because some idiots never tried, but because from age 16 people can concealed carry, in some states even without a permit, in Switzerland with a permit that is mandatory and guns are mandatory issued by the government when you are old enough to go under military preparation, all men, but ladies only if they want too, so the criminals got gunned down right when they started, limiting their damage to no casualty or maybe one each time.
If by comparison you look at the countries with strict gun laws like UK, Norway, France or anywhere else including tight gun laws states in the US, mass shooting are going south ugly, because the criminals have guns but the population has zero to defend themselves (see the Norway mass shooting as an example)
Low to non-existent criminality places have something else in common, if somebody breaks in your property and gets killed, or if somebody starts shooting in public and gets killed by an honest gun possessor, the people that gunned down the mass shooter or the burglar don't go to jail, on the contrary the local government often gives them a medal.
So as long as criminals have guns (including those working for the government) and police is not going to actually catch them anyway, I think is time we advocate for equal rights with the criminals. Why should criminals have more rights than we do?
If they had succeeded in their plan with the vaccination and the imposition of the green certificate, they would have hunted us like wild animals, all of them who now pretend to be victims on TV and complain that they got mandatory vaccinated.
