Buy a core XY configuration, like a TronXY or and Ender, they are fairly cheap for their capabilites, far better printing quality than a sling bed configuration, less headache than a Delta configuration.
Buy it big, yes the day will come you will want to print something and ... "why haven't I bought a bigger printer damn it!" will pop up your mind.
It is the case even with a very large printer that you will want to print even bigger sometimes, but at least a very big item is easier to stitch together if printed from segments than a small item.
