The hierarchies are not naturally established, but based on the principles implemented by the former in children's heads from preschool.
In our days is the absolute obedience of the rules of the game, whosoever thinks more free is an outsider.
That is how they select from childhood those that blindly execute any absurd orders even if against everything they believe in, and those are declared elites, but those that think independent and form their own opinions based on all the other facts than the government and corporate approved narrative are pushed to the margins, in the fringes, those damn free thinkers cannot be trusted.
This is why the marginals, the fringe dwellers are much more intelligent than the elites in power, that is why all social and technological progress starts among the marginals in the fringes, those in power are falling, licking their wounds, and climb back in power, that is all they know, legalized banditism.
Progress never comes from the centers of power, but from the fringes. From those that the power cannot trust.
